Are Cal Hawk tools good or are they pieces of crap?

We have a discount store around our house and it is selling Cal Hawk tools for extremely discounted prices, Is it Worth getting? Regardless of price, How do these rank on the "Quality" scale?

Everything is relative. I wouldn't buy them if I had to depend on them every day for my paycheck, but I'd buy them (and have) for occasional use around the house. I don't always buy the best stuff there is, but I do shop for value. I wouldn't hesitate if they're selling at a bargain.
Stay away from them. There is nothing more frustrating than bad tools. Spend the money and build up your essential tools with reputable brands such as Craftsman, Kobalt, Stanley, etc. You didn't say if you are talking about hand tools or power tools. This is especially true if it's power tools!! I have never found an off brand power tool that was worth the time it took to get it out of the box.
These are low end occasional use homeowner tools. Tools are an investment, if you do alot of projects, I'd buy something better, Craftsman, Stanley, etc. If all you do is putter around the house, the brand you are asking about is probably OK.
